You forgot about the 9 points deduction. Not only do we get rid of those Thursday games, we might even see our team play on Saturdays again. Outside the top flight I've heard they still play football at 3 pm on Saturdays.

What when Mascherano missed the first leg & Gerrard missed the second one? I reckon we'd have won the tie if Mascherano played both legs
