I met Joe Fagan as a kid in about 88, I asked him what he thought of Kenny the player his reply was simply 'Fat arse'.

 

I had a look of horror on my face as Kenny is my hero, Joe noticing this then turned round and said 'but he's got the skill of magical wizard son, there's not much better than he was' and ruffled my hair.

 

If there were more people like the Bootroom boys inside Liverpool then maybe The Liverpool Way might never have died.

Is right. Remember Donkeys years ago speaking to him at the postbox, Arkles end of Priory and saying "Morning Mr. Fagan"..."Call me Joe son".

He was a real imposing figure in days gone bye, he had hands like shovels.
