I'm going to cancun in august with some mates, anyone been?

 

If you have, is there anywhere good we need to go? Clubs/Bars etc.

 

Did you take Dollars or Pesos by the way? not sure what to take, might just take dollars though, its easier to work prices out and that then isnt it.

Went to the Riviera Maya last year and it was lovely.

 

I took pesos and they were more than happy to take the tips in local currency.

If the police stop you for a drugs check and ask to check your wallet, tell them to fuck off as they will only take the money out of it. I am pretty experienced in getting by in other countries, but I never saw that one coming. 200 dollars the bastards got from me. What do you do? Report them to the local criminals?

 

Insist instead that such a search is carried out down at the local police station in from of the inpector, they will then just let you go (so I am led to believe).
