Some interesting games in the run in around the European games…

City get their customary easy ride.

We could do with WHU getting to the semi final of the EL. They won’t have anything to play for in the league, hopefully rest a few ahead of the semi.

Likewise, ideally we want Villa to reach the Conference Final. Means they would likely qualify for the CL in 5th and potentially have nothing to play for.

I want all English sides out of Europe as fast as possible. Especially fucking Villa. Their fans don't deserve any trophies or even the day out of a final.

Arsenal get Bayern and Kane.

Aside from City and Arsenal drawing each other, this has turned out about as well as you could hope.

Best possible outcome this, I think.

Absolutely.

I’d quite like both City & Arsenal to get through to the semi. And whoever gets there, loses in the final, obviously.

Other than City vs Arsenal amd Bayern vs Real that draw couldn't have gone much better. Think Arsenal and City both get through and the winner of that semi wins the whole think but should hopefully mean both ties are tight and they have to play full strength in both games. Think City batter Madrid, and Bayern are shaky but the attack causes problems on their night

City typically having easy ties around the quarter finals, but Spurs away after the 2nd leg

3 April Villa A

6th Palace H

9th Madrid A

13th Luton H

16th Madrid H

20th Spurs A

If they get through that it's Forest,Wolves and Fulham

Other than the Arsenal,Spurs game and maybe Villa they have a piss easy fixture list. If they beat Arsenal you could easy see them getting max points

Arsenal

Brighton A

Bayern H

Villa H

Bayern A

Wolves

If they beat Bayern the semi are sandwiched between

Spurs A

City

Bournemouth H

City

Man Utd A

Of course there’s a good chance City will win the thing out, but those ties and potential ties are perfect for our league campaign.

I nearly hope they both progress to the semis.

City will likely have no trouble winning the league games they have. There's only really the Arsenal and Spurs games that can be looked at as points dropped. Villa form has dipped and the rest are lower mid table and the likes of West Ham

Arsenal win or a draw are the best outcomes in that game.

City’s run is an incredibly bruising run of games.

Just escaped us, then have Newcastle, Arsenal, Villa, Palace(boogey team), and Spurs in the next 5 weeks.

Arsenal - H - 31st Mar

Villa - A - 3rd Apr

Palace - A - 6th Apr

Real Madrid - H - 9th Apr

Luton - H - 13th Apr

Real Madrid - A - 16th Apr

Spurs - A - 20th Apr

Thats a tough run of games.

We coined the chant “we’re the greatest team in Europe and we’re going to wem- be-lee” in 1978 when, as European champions, we defended our title there.

If citeh get through to the final this year they will be able to mirror our achievement and have a genuine right to sing our song (unlike everyone else).

Er, what? That bunch of cheating fucking scum have no genuine right to anything, let alone mirroring or copying anything we've achieved.

If we do our job(s) nothing & nobody will rain on my parade.

Yup, don't give a shit about those cunts, the more key games they have is better for us. As long as we win the title, don't give a shit what the other cunts do in CL.

Would anybody be arsed if City won it again?

The thing is, we only need them to slip up once each and we will have some real breathing space when you add it whatever happens when they play each other. Those big quarter finals and semi finals are draining.

And city have always been a team that lose to sides they shouldn't. Palace and wolves have poked them in the eye a few times. But they're seasoned at this run in situation. And more equipped to handle it than arsenal imo. Arsenal have got into their stride the last couple of months playing once per week.

Of course but I think people are overlooking our run in. While we should beat both the mamcs and Everton both sides will be motivated and just sit in and look for a draw. That's before you look at Villa and Spurs. Long way to go yet. But if Klopps right and Jones,Jota a d Tre t are back for the start of April it's huge
