A little bit of commentator bullshit that would have annoyed me on another day was the suggestion that Fernandez had Alisson beaten with that header off target.

No.

The camera behind the goal shows that Ali had the goal covered: if it had been on target, he would have saved it.  It's not in his job description to stop balls that are going out for a goal-kick.

Another one was Tyler on the first goal, after the first replay he says its tight for offside,  Shaws fat arse has him about 4 feet onside.

Scholes kept using the word 'freakish' too, regarding the result. I agree with him, to a point.

It's funny how these same people would scoff if you suggest the 5-2 Madrid game was also a freak result.

This, despite their first being some individual brilliance that came waaaay against the run of play. And 2 of their goals deflecting off players who didn't even see the fucking ball.

The second leg isn't a completely done deal.

Still maintain that game was lost on the ref ignoring the push on Nunez. Doubt he does anything with the header but 3-2 down at that point with a pen for 3-3, 30-60 seconds later it's 4-2

No, that game has a very different context now after Sunday. It would be great to be heading over there just a goal down. We've more than likely left ourselves with too much to do but Klopp has previous for this kind of thing.

Brutal. Can't wait to see this kid screening the defence with Bajcetic and Bellingham in front of him. Next twenty years sorted.

I'd like to hear Roy Keane's comments on the steward who took a few steps forward then stopped.

Tyler seemed determined to mention their disallowed goal, which was miles offside - after Gakpo’s first and soon after at half-time. Sad twat.
