None of the others avoid challenges like Henderson. Our captain doesnt do challenges or tackles.

Pure shite. It's childish that one player gets singled out when all are shite. He was singled out when we were winning everything too. It's quite pathetic really and typical of the social media age.

I agree it’s wrong to single out one player. Most of them have been very poor all season, and the team clearly isn’t working at all.

But if you forget social media and watch our matches this season you’ll find that our captain hardly ever makes a challenge. Let alone win a tackle. Look up the stats available, and they’ll confirm it. Fabinho admittedly has been almost as bad, which is also the reason they’ve both been dropped, and rightly so, in favour of an 18 year old and a version of Naby Keita that is very far from his best form.

I dont think it’s unreasonable to expect more from the club captain and one of the top earners in the squad.

With Jota, Firmino and Van Dijk on the way back, a win tonight has the potential to give us a real boost for the Real ties. I think our inability to score has been as much an issue as our midfield over the last while. Hopefully Jota is good for a half of football tonight.
