If we were genuinely serious about winning things we'd have had a replacement for Coutinho ready to step in as well as VVD,AOC and possibly Keita joining us early. Its a good deal for the squad aspect and the morale of the players but it seriously weakens our first eleven in the short term at least. Its always two steps forward and one step back,or vice versa,with our current owners. Its a solid way to run a business but its a business which stays afloat rather than winning many awards. Just a shame that they appear to favour fat men on steroids playing rounders over the beautiful game.

What is there to win over the next 4 months - genuinely?

Fuck all, apart from the Champions league, FA Cup, and a top four finish to qualify us for next season's champions league in the event that we fail to win it this year.

 

Unless this is Howie being characteristically vague and far out, in which case the answer is woopaloopaloopafish.
