Go all out for VVD in January. If they won't sell, move on to De Vrij. We have to improve at the back.

Then let's go for Goretzka. He's winding his contract down and looks to be leaving in a free, like Emre. Let's offer them a few bob to try to bring him here in January.

Beyond that, Keita is coming next summer. Great news.

Then our big signing should be Werner, with hopefully Origi doing well enough to command a decent fee next summer if that's what we do.

VVD, Keita, Goretzka, Werner and we are a title challenging team.

It'll take more than VVD to sort that defense out

Should be looking at both VVD and De Vrij and shipping out Lovren and Klavan

I would be happy with those 2 in and the other 2 out, i'd still go and buy a solid midfielder in January as many have pointed out you could have the best cb's in the world playing for us but if there is no proper protection in front of them we would have the same issue's eventually just with less personal mistakes.

We wont address our issues in January. We will be told that January is a difficult window to do business.

We wont address our issues in the summer. We will be told that only exceptional players can improve our first 11 and its difficult to attract them without Champions League football.

Rinse and repeat.

Any, they won't waste that excuse next summer. World Cup year isn't it. That's the excuse to top them all. Save the other for the year after.

We'll be linked with loads of players though

REAL RIVALS FOR WERNER

Liverpool reportedly have plans to raid RB Liepzig again but they are unlikely to have a free run at Timo Werner like they enjoyed on Naby Keita.

The Germany international is attracting interest from all over Europe, and Werner has suggested he would be open to a move to one of the Premier League or La Liga giants.

According to Don Balon, Real Madrid are especially keen, with the 21-year-old identified as the ideal target to rejuvenate their attack.

Werner scored 21 goals in the Bundesliga last term and laid on another seven. He has three goals in three league games so far this season.

Real Madrid is too soon for Werner. He should come here and score loads for us.

I've got it in my head that we'll sign this lad, possibly with Origi going there at the end of the season. Keita is coming, and since Can is probably leaving we'll replace him with a top free signing in Goretzka. VVD to come in January.

Not sure where that leaves us this season, but we win the league next season. It's a nice daydream.
