You're trying too hard to find a pattern or a hypothesis that almost guarantees a successful transfer. There obviously isn't. But if you're telling me none of those Belgium u21's are gong to be world class then you're a very brave man.

Seeing as you were putting forward a suggestion on who to sign, I assumed there would be some seblmance if a hypothesis involved. How silly of me.

Chris Williams has this to say today:

Kicker analyse Keita as "overrated, doesn't do well in high pressure games". Rated as worse player on Tuesday.. (1/3)

From inside Leipzig, some becoming unamused at his off the field antics. "Prima-donna" tendancy, also the red suit didn't go down well (2/3)

Could open the way to an earlier move to LFC. January could become a serious option should behaviour / improvement not turn around. (3/3)

Come on, Naby.  You know where you really want to be.  Make it happen.

Hope we're not getting El Hadji Keita here. Might be some legs in this as I heard last night that we're letting Milner go in January.

Played well in the big games last year

Maybe ralph should not have come out with the shit about the village in the summer and pissed him and his family off. Be a nice boost in january if it gets done. Just be a shame we wont be able to play in Europe

He'll be fresh for the battle for 6th place.

Looks like we should swerve Timo Werner after last night. Shit his kecks over the noise from the Besiktas fans, tried wearing ear plugs so he couldnt hear them then had to go off after 32 minutes. The fuck!?

I remember an Anfield CL semi atmosphere being so good back in 2005 that the entire Chelsea team didn't turn up.

The Timo Werner thing is a strange one, not sure i've of something like that happening before. I think i read that he was dizzy, maybe he has an inner-ear problem and was suffering from vertigo.

Or not. Weird one though.

yeah  loud noises and inner ear infection dont go well together

Poor lad, at least he didn't have an ingrown hair, that would have been awful.

Milner leaving?

if we can stay in contention and sign Naby, VVD and maybe de Vrij in Jan I will be a lot happier.

Would also like to buy a striker but cant have everything!

Don't do it to yourself, you'll only end up disappointed in Jan.

Leeds United are said to be interested in 19-year-old defender Aapo Halme, according to reports.

Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat have claimed that the HJK Helsinki player is being monitored by the Championship club – who have previously sent scouts over to watch him play.

The centre-back stands at 6ft 4ins tall and has featured 13 times for the newly-crowned champions.

Halme has drawn favourable comparisons with former Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia, who featured in 318 games for the Reds, and is one of his country’s most famous players.

With the football season in Finland coming to a close at the end of October and not starting again until April, Leeds might try and pursue Halme when the transfer window opens in January.

Thomas Christiansen has enjoyed a strong start to life as Leeds manager suffering just two defeats in 10 Championship games this season.

United are currently sat in third place in the Championship and travel to Hillsborough this weekend to face Sheffield Wednesday in a Yorkshire derby.

Liverpool have spoken to Norwegian side Rosenborg about the possibility of signing highly-rated young star Olaus Jair Skarsem, according to reports.

The 19-year-old midfielder is widely-regarded as one of his country’s best prospects in years and has already been earning rave reviews in the Norwegian media.

Skarsem is currently playing in the Rosenborg 2 squad, although he made his debut in 2016 and and is tipped up as a star of the future.

And Dagbladet claims Liverpool have already been made aware of Skarsem’s potential, with Jurgen Klopp’s side asking the Norwegians to be kept updated on his progress.

It’s claimed the Reds hope to secure first option on the midfielder, and hope the fact that former Anfield favourite Stig Inge Bjornebye is Rosenborg’s sporting director will work in their favour.

Kare Ingebrigtsen side won the Norwegian title last year but failed to make it through to the Champions League group stage after a play-off round defeat to Celtic.

It remains to be seen whether Skarsem will feature in their Europa League campaign.

We need a new spine.

New keeper, 2 new centre backs, Keita and a clinical striker and we’d piss the league. We need a minimum of one centre back but after watching Matip last season and the start of this I don’t think he’s good enough, Oblak, Van Dijk, Keita and Aubameyang and this team wins the league, easily.
