Sky sports news main headline too was "Advantage United!" How is it? If anything it's dead level given that United's home advantage is negated by the chance of Seville to get an away goal that United didn't! Fucking media Wankers

All this clap trap would make more sense with a 1-1 or 2-2, but 0-0 is very line ball.

McManaman is sounding more and more like Robbie Savage nowadays. For some reason, he expects 100% passing accuracy, immaculate ball control in any situation, and every attempt at goal to hit the target, with anything in the six yard box finding the net. Not even the very best teams and players are capable of that. Whenever Savage is doing co-commentary, every single thing a player does is met with the comment "must do better", in a high pitched whine.

Mcmanaman commenting on poor finishing. Fuck me wants to go back and watch himself infront of goal.

You always hear that

They act like 0-0 away is a great result. It was in the old days of going behind the iron curtain. Its a good/decent result away at the biggest clubs. But far from a advantage. Still expect them through but a goal from Sevilla to go one up will put the cat amongst the pigeons for sure

Gets even funnier when you hear the likes of Danny Mills & Kevin Kilbane talking as if they were Gerd Muller

Interesting hearing Strachan say a player will be allowed to do anything by players, managers and fans if he's successful on the pitch. Referenced the Cantona kick.

He said something like that when he was a studio pundit at the last World Cup. I think it was after Suarez bit Chiellini. The presenter was obviously angling for Strachan to come out with a typical moral high ground response, but Strachan pointed out that there are no morals in football.

Set of moralising pricks. Strachan is bang on the money.

Similar sketch re Rugby League on SSN yesterday when they were talking to Brian Carney about Zak Hardaker being sacked by Castleford for drugs offences. They then awaited the moral condemnation & had faces like smacked arses when Ashton confirmed there would be a scramble for his services after his ban & Wigan were already sniffing around.
