Barcelona will beat Chelsea comfortably in the return leg, United will scrape past Sevilla and then get bummed in the next round.

Juventus are going to win 1-0 at Wembley.

We're going to knock out City and Bayern on the way, and then beat Real Madrid 8-6 in the final.

So there.

I think a lot of people will be lured in by that Barcelona game last night. They played against one of the best defensive teams/managers in the game. Chelsea and United at the moment are built to nullify teams in that way. It’s the complete opposite to say the Porto team who clearly don’t play defensive tactics regularly so when they do they’re shit at it.

If you think Barcelona would struggle that much to create against us playing wide open football you’re kidding yourself. It would make for a entertaining game and we could beat them but they wouldn’t look anything like last night. We could force the odd mistake by pressing high and winning the ball in their half but Suarez and Messi would have a lot more time and space to run at players.

I mean, obviously this is all true. But can't we pretend they're shit instead?

I agree with you about their attack, but I think we'd have considerable success pressing their defence.  I don't think their defence was very comfortable when Chelsea chased them down last night, and we are much better at it than Chelsea.

If Suarez played like he did last night the biggest thing we'd have to worry about would be the ref falling for his antics. He looked shit. Don't think he's properly recovered from that knee injury. Could barely move at the end.

That's pretty much common knowledge isnt? Think he's spoke about it.

Still not far off a goal a game in the league.

He's reached the point in his career where if he isn't scoring, he's probably having an awful match. He doesn't affect games like he used to.

I agree like. It would make an entertaining game as well. I just think given the option I’d take Chelsea ahead of Barcelona. Messi is just too good.

he got precious little service last night playing up front against a packed defence.  None of the Barca players looked likely to score without a mistake from Chelsea.

Suarez is far from finished,

That's the point. Suarez used to create his own service and chances. He can't do that anymore.

The last i heard he either needed surgery or needed a 2 month rest to get over his injury but has ended up trying to play through it. Surprised he has to be honest with a world cup on the horizon

TSFP are saying his knee injury needs surgery and rest but it’s the sort of njury you can never recover from.

Apparently he has no meniscus fluid around his knee and that will never repair.
