For me Henderson is the epitome of a squad player, he’s a brilliant athlete decent footballer and could probably give you a 6/10 in almost any position. In Spain or Italy he’d a right back. He also doesn’t strike me as a guy who would kick up a fuss if he wasn’t starting week in week out, the problem is he’s now captain basically by default so it’s a tough juggling act, do we drop him and take give the captaincy to a new signing and potentially risk him kicking off and causing an unnecessary row or do we just sell him in the summer.

I like the guy - he's a hard-running pro that never gives less than 100%. However, the amount of time it takes him to receive the ball, adjust his body and look up to assess his options is ridiculous. He always takes an extra touch and never turns with the ball because he lacks vision or awareness of his surroundings. This has gone on long enough. You might be able to carry him with two top class midfielders next to him but none of Wijnaldum, Milner or Can are good enough. Putting Coutinho and Lallana together and telling Hendo not to take any risks may be the only way to accommodate him in the team.

There was a move in the first half were the ball came to him and just prior you could see him position himself so that he would be unable to take the shot on.

He's a lamentable fucking marsupial molesting pissbag who along with Mignolet represent the systemic decline of Liverpool Football Club.

Captain shitbag indeed.

Keita will add fire to the midfield. I’m hoping we sign Goretzka too, as I think he will become world class. Henderson is a decent player, but not great. He’s good enough if the others are very good, but if we’re looking to him to be the best one, we’re in trouble. Too much of a muchness in there and we need quality.

I think it's admirable that Kloppo always tries to support and big up Henderson after another one of his below par performances, give him confidence, but surely now even Kloppo must be close to chopping the bastard?

When Jordy has been exceptionally shocking, like midweek, instead of axeing the slack jawed nancy boy, Kloppo invariably chops some fucker else and brings in dependable old Milner to play alongside Mr 4/10, to hold his hand and nurse him through games.

Our Captain is a pathetic coward with a great engine.

He's too nice to be a leader. Personally I'd make him hospitality manager of the club restaurant, which would also tie in nicely with his talent for pointing, such as which table diners should sit at or where the toilets are.

He'd also be brilliant at sending stuff back to the kitchen.
