YESSSSSSS. please fuck off. omg this is great. finally getting rid of this excuse of a player.

Adios.

Now let's get Matri back and sign Pandev.

If we get a proper replacement im ok with it

But selling our most talented player (by some distance) is not good
Mario could be such a good player, he literally has the lot. He better not explode in Liverpool, that would hurt.

I believe he'll be shipped out but prefer he would stay, we have better players than last year so I think he'll get more service and perform better. Then we can get more money next year.

Balotelli behaviour is dreadful and he does not bring the collective , good news ..

poor sturridge.

The argument of talent v attitude has been done to death, so another angle. I think there is a positive in signing big name players that acts as a magnet for even better players. At Man City, Silva, Toure, Aguero etc wouldn't have followed if it hadn't been for the likes of Robinho, Viera, Kompany, Adebayor, Jo, Tevez etc. showing the ambition that was there, oil billions or not.

Milan and Liverpool reach agreement in principle for Balotelli, Raiola will meet Reds today to close the deal

Balotelli is close to joining Liverpool. The two clubs reached an agreement in principle, the negotiation speeded up during the night. He should leave on a permanent deal. The fee? Around €20M, without bonuses. In the afternoon, his agent Raiola will be in Liverpool to negotiate the terms of the contract. Today could be Balotelli’s final day in Milanello, Liverpool await him.

This is going oddly fast...

20,000,000.00 EUR = 15,998,529.41 GBP

The more I think about it he is probably the best striker suited to us, he has a presence up front but can also play the technical game.

I think he'll be a big success and a fans favourite by january.

Or he upsets the dressing him, fails to score goals, does not take part in trainings and we will want him out by January.

This could go either way.

I don't think you outcomes are likely, he was popular in the city squad and there isn't issues with his ability, if he plays regularly he'll get goals.

Has there been issues at milan because I haven't heard about them, we know the treatment he'll get from our fans and I expect him to react to that.

If it goes wrong atleast we would get most of what we paid back unlike what would happen with falcao.

Really wanted Falcao but that seems to have gone with this deal seemingly in the final stages.

For £16m you can't really complain.  If he flops here completely then we can always recoup that from someone, at his age there will be enough takers willing to give him another chance.  It might help to look at it essentially as a one-year loan for a minimal price, because of the fact that if he doesn't settle and does something rash, we can always sell him on for at least £12 million next summer.

And if he does somehow manage to pull his head out his arse at least on the pitch with any level of consistency, then watch out. I think he has everything in his locker creatively and physically to be an Ibrahimovic. Maybe unlikely, but who knows? Lots of people grow up quite a bit in their mid-20s and lads you thought would never amount to anything suddenly get their lives together and make something of themselves. Why not Mario?
