I thought Turner acting like some sort of shit Elvis impersonator dressed like a 17 year George Harrison while absolutely fucked off his face was a bit of a letdown.

 

I couldn't help but feel like he was acting the wanker all set. The drummer looked fucked off with him a few times and he doesn't normally behave like he is the centre attraction. If I was there and I had picked the Artic over Portishead, I reckon I would have been disappointed to have missed Portishead.

 

Turner was sloppy as fuck in parts of that set and brought the tempo down too much at times. But pissed up kids are gonna live him for it because there was loads of bright lights and they got to sing along.

 

Portishead were always shite.
