You have to be taking the piss Code, seriously.

I know sarcasm/irony can be difficult to pick up on the internet, but even you must have picked up on it...

Code lecturing people on being obsessed with Benitez is like being lectured on getting a nose job by Michael Jackson's cosmetic surgeon.

Who brought this thread to the front page again, personally I could not care less about what Rafa is doing.

Why comment on every thread about him then?

I commented on this one because I found it sad that someone bumped it trying to get an argument going and actually blaming "the other side" of being obsessed while its clearly the other day around.

Rafa can do whatever the fuck he likes, I could not care less, what I care about though is the state he left this club in and before that has been fixed the issue will never be outdated.

Discussing others discussing Rafa has nothing to do with the state he left the club in or the short term (and more than likely the long term) future of Liverpool Football Club.

The issue on the "state" of the club now has nothing to do with Rafa. Neither does it have anything to do with Hodgson, Purslow, Parry, Moores, Hicks or Gillet. They are in the past and the club is now moving forward. Surely you can do the same if that's the limit of your caring? (Not saying it ain't there, by the way).

If you think people are being obessed with him and making sarky comments about those that wanted him out etc, then ignore it. Responding makes you look like you do give a shite about what he's doing. And this constant circular path it takes everytime he speaks to anyone ain't doing this place, or any of us for that matter, any good whatsoever.

Fuck that, what about Don Welsh? The rotter got us relegated, and had the nerve to do some radio interviews after he'd left. The bare faced cheek of it.

Don Welsh was only in it for the money, the media whore. I'll never forget those hand gestures to Billy Liddell.

I hated him. So much so that I hated every club he ever went to from then on.

And then pretended I didn't care.

In the desert

I saw a creature, naked, bestial,

who, squatting upon the ground,

Held his heart in his hands,

And ate of it.

I said, "Is it good, friend?"

"It is bitter bitter," he answered;

"But I like it

Because it is bitter,

And because it is my heart."

Guest ShoePiss

So we got to 24 pages of crap before this thing aired and then not a dickie bird once it did.

Was Rafa not naughty on the programme? Surely he did something that felt like sand in your vaginas.

He's on the naughty list for a reason.

I really like that.

I'm not sure where I first read it - certainly wasn't a collection of his poems, maybe it was used as a preface in a book or something?

Excellent signing, as was alot of Rafas in 2004-2006.

I'm not been bitter, what's annoying me is Rafa using the media foot soldiers to blacken the name of former players with innuendos on Twitter, if he's got something to say then say it

Takes some brass balls to say that so closely after asking why he signed a player he never saw Paddy, a statement loaded with suggestion.

30mins of unedited interview are here

BBC - Dan Walker: Chess-loving Benitez lays out welcome mat

Cheers for that. I think it would help him if he didn't always come across as fighting his corner so much. A few more concessions of things he'd like to have improved in his own performance would be the sugar that helps the medicine go down, in my opinion.
