  1. I was thinking that earlier on, it was a pain in the ar*se just getting to the petition to sign. Can somebody with a computer brain set up a straightforward e-petition for the same purpose? Maybe separate ones for the other cu*nts, eg. Bettison. They would be far more successful. No law against signing both! I'd do it myself, but I'm not very computer literate.
  2. Sorry if this link is already on, but if you look at the article on the left, it is proof that the FA totally failed in their 'probe'. Why did they not discover that the ground had no valid safety certificate at this point? Its sickening to see the quote from the FA spokesman:- ' but we must ensure it doesn't happen again' HOME - ohwhenthespurs.co.uk
  3. Carragher has no problem with Rafa as this recent extract from an interview shows:- “I don't think we're the type of team that could just go out and spend £200m like Manchester City or Chelsea can, and you've virtually guaranteed yourself a good chance of winning the title. I think we have to build a little bit slower than that. Let's try and get back in that top four, then once you cement your place there, you go again, as we did with Gerard Houllier and Rafa Benitez. We were in the Champions League for a couple of years and then had that tilt at the title and just fell short. At the moment the task is to try and get back into that top four.” Rafa and SG have also said they had no problem with each other, only respect.
  4. Between 2.30-4.00 according to this Wednesday Morning Adjournment Debates - Westminster Hall - UK Parliament
  5. I doubt the Everton part, he did say 'rivals' remember!
  6. With admissions such as this, it shouldn't be a problem:- BBC News - PC Debra Martin 'coerced to change Hillsborough notes'
  7. I don't think he'd go to Chelsea:- However, Benitez said he had no intention of taking over any other club in the Premier League, especially a Liverpool rival club. He continued, “Fans in Liverpool know the teams I would not go (to) but I think these clubs wouldn't offer me a job. I'm a professional but obviously some clubs I would not go to, especially the big rivals of Liverpool. I won't say the names, but it's not difficult!”
  8. Some people have a short memory, or maybe their ignorance is due to their age. Rangers v Liverpool 18th October 2011 | Willie Vass Archive The vast majority of Celtic and Rangers fans are lovely people, a tiny minority being 'sectarian bigots'. I suppose all scousers are thieves:wallbutt:
  9. The fans are in support of Luis. He's a fantastic player with that extra passion and character that we love. We know the truth, and regardless of PR, will continue to support him. Ferguson has been longing to sign him since 2009 and failed. Now that he plays for us, Ferguson perceives him as a threat and is trying every dirty trick in the book to destroy things for him.(Just as he did to Rafa) Thumbs up for the supporters and Luis, but less so for the club in this instance.
  10. Singing a song from the kop about equality, such as 'Imagine' (or whatever) in addition to the Luis song would make our stance pretty clear. As far as the media are concerned, we've been there before with the scum, and hit them where it hurts. The same thing could be applied to the rest of them, including avoiding their websites, which give them a fortune through adverts/hits. As for the FA, which caused it all, signing a petition such as this (or one similar) may help, especially if its targeted to various other club forums at the right time:- NO Confidence Vote in The FA/FL and PL. Fans Ask For Proper Government Regulation - e-petitions. A few banners such as FANIMAL FARM:- All players are equal, but some players are more equal than others' or:- 'The pursuit of the unbeatable by the unspeakable' Just a few ideas:idea:
  11. NO Confidence Vote in The FA/FL and PL. Fans Ask For Proper Government Regulation - e-petitions Just a thought, it might be worth signing this and spreading the word around other fan's forums such as QPR, City as well as ours etc.
  12. (b) The nature of the incident, and in particular any intent, recklessness, negligence or other state of mind of the Player; The above extract from the FA rule book, emphasizes that intent in particular should be considered. If there was no offence intended, they should not charge him. 9.1 The Regulatory Commission shall as soon as practicable send to the Alleged Offender and the Chief Regulatory Officer (or his nominee), a written statement of its decision, which shall state: (a) the Charge(s) considered and whether admitted or denied; (b) the decision as to whether Misconduct has been proved or not; and © any penalty or other order imposed. 9.2 The written statement shall be signed and dated by the chairman of the Regulatory Commission and be the conclusive record of the Regulatory Commission’s decision. A copy of the written decision shall be forwarded to The Association. 9.3 The Regulatory Commission shall, upon the written request of a Senior Compliance Officer (or his nominee) or Alleged Offender lodged with the Secretary of the Regulatory Commission within seven days of the date of the written statement of its decision, state in writing: They have a week to provide the written document according to that.
  13. Surely Suarez can sue the FA for libel! Their action and broadcast have caused serious damage to his reputation and character. A court of law would look at the evidence and there would surely be only one verdict.
  14. Talk about eating your words, this is an extract from September's Guardian about Theresa May :- The home secretary, Theresa May, has dismissed fears that deep spending cuts could undermine the ability of the police to tackle possible civil unrest, and insisted the British did not respond to austerity by rioting on the streets. The full article is here:- Theresa May: We can cut police budget without risking violent unrest | UK news | guardian.co.uk
  15. I suppose it is drastic, but it seems to be spreading like wildfire. I hope they don't start wrecking town. I can understand why this is happening...tories+cuts=despair +anarchy, I would never condone it though. Inevitably, innocent people will bear the brunt of it all. And the match might get called off.
