Incidentally, the Chelsea players weren't allowed to play in the testimonial ahead of this weekend's title decider - instead, they turned up in the kit and paraded around before kick off apparently. Ferdinand was also there as a former West Ham player. Ferguson allowed him to play despite the injury issues he's had this season; apparently he started alongside his brother and played most of the first half.

 

Not trying to eulogise Baconface or anything, God forbid, just thought it was an interesting contrast.
