I love the roses, but that was terrible. I hate it. I really really really hate it. It sounds like the seahorses but with even worse lyrics.

If you're suggesting I'm chip pissing then you're very much mistaken. The roses are one of my favourite bands of all time. I didn't have high hopes but I didn't actually think those four musicians were capable of making something that bad together.

Haha, no mate. It was genuine. I'm not very diverse music wise and I've made a mental note to check out The Seahorses on YouTube when I get a chance. I like the new Roses tune.

They only had one album but YouTube " You can talk to me " which was a standalone single meant for the never made second album. Best song they did for me.

That's rubbish. Very "seahorses" is definitely the way to describe it. It might grow on me but after 2 listens it's not very good.

All For One sounds better through headphones, that guitar solo could have been a bit longer. It does sound like classic Roses although obviously not as good but it wouldn't be out of place on one of the compilations. Better than a few songs off Second Coming anyway.

I thought the lyrics were getting repetitive and lyrically Beady Eye did come into my head but then he said a fee different things. The lyrics were very Ian Brownesque if you listen to his solo stuff. It was actually solo Ian Brown words/vocal style on a seahorses track. It was still very good, im made up with it anyway.

 

They weren't going to recreate Waterfall and the like and im sure no-one can have expected that.
