Well, if we're talking in the literal terms of what is more important, it's more important to finish fourth than win tonight.

Nah, not having that.

Liverpool v Real at Anfield is one of the biggest matches in the sport. Ever. Always.

A solid win tonight will do more to get us to fourth than "managing" this game to a stale 0-0 draw or worse a thumping.

Best side - play to win.

I wasn't suggesting not giving absolutely everything tonight but it's irrelevant because that will happen, but fourth place is huge, and always will be.

Hmmm.

Real Madrid have had a ridiculously busy 2023, with the Spanish club having already played 14 matches this year – six more than opponents Liverpool. Ancelotti’s side have had to make long trips to Saudi Arabia to play in the Spanish Super Cup (which they lost in the final to rivals Barcelona) and Morocco to play – and win – the FIFA Club World Cup

Where are people getting their streams from nowadays?

I’ve been reporting hesgoals.top to the authorities regularly this year but so far they haven’t got their arses in gear and the terrible pirates are still able to provide multiple streams of very high quality week after week. It’s quite upsetting.

Ancelotti will try and keep it quiet.  With the new away goals rule you don't win games in the first leg anymore.

Madrid getting the rub of the green again like last year when all their 2nd leg games were at home.

It's not the rub of the green at all. They won their group. If we'd have wanted a home tie 2nd, we shouldn't have got dry humped by Napoli.

It's scandalous that foreign fans get treated like esteemed visitors by our police, stewards and the general Liverpool public, while the vast majority of places our supporters go to treat us like scum.

Yep. Didn't Ajax fans say it was the best trip that they've ever been on as the police treated them like adults and they were welcome in every Liverpool fc pub they went in?.

Also remember a few of our fans on social media saying Ajax and the Dutch police treated them well.

I for one am shocked....

Real Madrid key man flies in hours before Liverpool clash as squad change made

Real Madrid have confirmed the late addition of Toni Kroos to their squad to face Liverpool tonight in the Champions League.

Madrid have released a statement mere hours before kick-off at Anfield confirming that Kroos has not only travelled to Liverpool, but will be in the squad to face the Reds tonight.
