They were very good. Dont watch those type of shows myself but he was very witty and funny.

Yeah he was definitely head and shoulders above anyone else on those shows. I found him hysterical.

I don’t really either but watching some of the clips on Twitter yesterday and reading the tributes from those who knew him has left me with a real sense of loss

I think its because he came over as a type of 'every man.' A mate,a friend,an acquaintance,who was good company and very funny too.

My dad was a massive Simon and Garfunkel fan and they were massively influenced by the Everly brothers, but his favourite song was Cathy's clown.

Cathy's Clown is my mums favourite as well. She had the single which had Temptation on the B side. It got played to death, that and Wake up Little Susie.

They were some vocal duo, the harmonies were superb.
