Can't take to Tarantino's stuff at all and I find John Travolta virtually unwatchable in anything other than Saturday Night Fever. I did watch it again a year or two ago with an open mind but it just wasn't happening for me at all.

 

Christopher Walken was good in it though.

Travolta is unwatchable. He is a fucking terrible actor.

 

I said at the time that Les Dennis could easily have played his part in Pulp Fiction because it was so we'll written. Travolta is like a blancmange on legs, but without the subtlety.

It was meant to be Michael Madsen instead of Travolta. I think Travolta plays it brilliantly. Just the right amount of sleaze. 

 

Have you seen the OJ Simpson Story? He is great in that.

i think his awkwardness is perfect for VV - he inhabits the character and makes him vulnerable and relatable
