I think this place would have exploded had it been a goal.

We were boss today, thoroughly deserved the win against what is a fantastic side, we deserve huge credit, our tactics were spot on and we worked our bollocks off - but regardless of how good they are it is madness that we end up clinging on at the end. We have to cope better when under pressure.

As I said earlier we are fucking great to watch but it isn't good for the health.

Yeah, fully deserved it and the players put in a massive shift. On another day City lose that 4-1, but they got a few breaks and some defensive help at the end. For a 15 minute period in that second half we ripped City a new one, the kids and myself were grinning, slapping high fives and loving it. At the end I was having to bite my lip so as I didn't shout expletives at the box. But what a game, still not come down from it.

Exceptional from front 3, Oxlade Chamberlain, Can and Robertson. Firmino was absolutely magic, that goal was proper world class centre forward play, fuck off Stones and and the most outrageous of chips. Salah is the best player in the world and Mane was superb in the second half, but boy does he do some mad things with the ball, the nonchalance and confidence are a big part of what makes him so brilliant but scary when you’re trying to hang on.

Ox Chamberlain superb in CM, going to be a real success story under Klopp, I never want to see him on the wing ago. Can is boss such a presence in midfield, we need to do everything to keep him. Robertson great too, very solid and embodied the spirit of this side.

Gini played well too. Held onto the ball well and was the driving force forward.

Gini was solid, pity he shits himself with the ball at his feet in the box. He ran further than any other player today, put a right shift in.

I think we need to enjoy more how lucky we are to follow the most exciting team in Europe. We aren’t the best team but for sheer thrills and spills we are fantastic , if not always good for my 57 year old heart. Sometimes it is tempting to fixate on what is wrong or what you can improve but we have a team bought at much less cost than others and even though some players have faults , every single one of them put in 100% for us, Klopp and the shirt..Not going to think about any of the negatives tonight but wallow in the 4 fantastic goals and my pride in being a Red.

All the starters did well other than Karius and Lovren

I thought Lovren was as good as any other defender today, it was a collective fuck bý all for Cities 2nd and 3rd goals imo,

Robertson again fantastic

I love how City marked him down as a weak link yet he stood up to them time and time again, a few dodgy moments but he had a very good game and defended up front as well. Commitment 100%
