Should be back up right back this season, then sold next summer.

Better still this summer. He's never been good enough. Fucking coward. Take that other malingering shithouse Sturridge with him.

Sick to death having to watch these arseless cunts disappear every time the going gets tough. He's fucking pointless. Has been from the day he arrived.

I'd prefer he was fucked off this summer as well but it's not going to happen sadly.

Still can't quite believe he was made captain.

The captan of Liverpool football club cannot make the first team of the worst England squad in living memory. Our captain, and almost guaranteed starter, cannot make a national team. The captain of one of the biggest, most decorated, well supported, financed, followed and globally known and admired football teams on the planet is not considered good enough to represent his country as a starter.

That, quite simply, is not good enough

Yeah, but when was Graeme Souness ever on the cover of FIFA16?

Henderson is not equipped to play the position he started in today (and against Arsenal) and is the major catalyst for our disjointed performances. He has a field of vision that only covers 180 degrees, when the role requires somebody with the awareness to receive the ball and turn away from pressure in order to open up space for everyone else. His body position when addressing the ball is horrendous and this leads to him playing back and sideways far too often rather than switching the play.

It is not all that surprising that he lacks the necessary technique as he is a player who has always relied on his stamina and physical gifts rather than anything remotely cerebral. Ask him to press and he will run like a dog chasing pigeons. However, the traditional 'number 6' position calls for more nous. Alonso was not blessed with an iron lung but he knows how to drop into space / show for a ball, turn away from a marker and move the ball quickly and accurately vertically up the pitch. That is what Dahoud was being targeted to provide. Without that ability in our squad we are too easy to press and our transitions are too slow allowing our opponents to maintain defensive shape.

Henderson is a decent harrier in a three man midfield but will never be a playmaker as long as he has a hole in his arse. It is debatable whether he creates or scores enough to warrant a place at all in any three man midfield we deign to select. There is no way he should be insulated just because the last manager foolishly appointed him club captain. If he isn't prepared to accept the demotion he should hit the road as we will not struggle to replace him. The less said about his efforts to tackle Oxlade Chamberlain and Gray the better - absolutely powder puff. Sourness, McMahon or Alonso, Jordan most certainly is not.
