Ages ago, maybe in  this thread, I said something stupid like 'I liked the first Viagra Boys EP, but after that not too fussed' and you told me I was wrong.

They are a great night out and he still has the best belly in rock and roll.

I love them but not sure it would be worth a trip to Sweden even if it is a hometown gig. They seem to come around to Amsterdam at least a couple of times a year..

Terry Hall night after Totp on BB4 tonight for anyone interested. Listing below. 

 

The clip from 79 about 15 seconds in shows Terry splitting open the head of a bouncer with his tambourine for roughing up a kid trying to get on the stage..before carrying on with song like nothing happened. Nothing unusual back then. It was the times. Or as Charlie Dickens might say more accurately, it was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Terry Hall was boss.

This is great, but for all the wrong reasons. The singers not sure if he's he ill because he's got ADHD or he's eaten a family bag of skittles. As for the music they make Status Quo sound like Steely Dan.
