Today was the 250th time Steven Gerrard led Liverpool as a captain in the PL. Please, please let it be his last! The lack of leadership out there was embarrasing (he was probably our worst "performer" as well, but that's another story...). Suarez, Lucas, Reina, Skrtel and Agger look like they care, perhaps Brendan should look to shake things up a bit? Who wants a change?

As it says on the tin. Which 3 former players would you add to the current side to improve it the most? I'd go for; Rush Barnes Souness.

Stick down 3 predictions for the next government, we can then see if it's as bad as predicted.

Just a suggestion, but I think it would be appropriate and respectful if the forum shut down for two minutes at 3:06pm in line with the 2 minutes silence being observed across the city. Today will hopefully be a huge day for the campaign and some incredibly brave and heartbroken people may be about to get a little bit of help in their wish to be able to come a bit more to terms with what happened to their loved ones on that day in Sheffield. For 2 minutes at 3:06pm bickering over a line up, or player we missed out on would seem a bit hollow, so if possible it would be good if we all were to take a moment out. As I say, just a suggestion.

From offal When making his debut against Stoke 10 days ago Suarez became the 34th player to appear for the club this season - a club record. Damn hard to think of everybody that played so far this year (or dawned a shirt:(). Hard to believe we've had 33 so far, bloody hell. Anyone care to take a stab at naming the full 33?

I'd love to know how they've come up with this figure, probably plucked from Ferguson's shit stained underpants by some celebrity Manc tea leaf reader. Gill's defence of the Glazers must be extremely galling for the Mancs giving that he fought their takeover all the way. They have obviously managed to buy Ferguson's and Gill's support since completing the takeover. Shame on the pair of them. BBC Sport - Football - Man Utd's Gill defends refusal to speak to fan groups

I think the following players have 4 months to save their LFC careers and unless they impress until the end of the season, might well leave in the summer: Jones Agger Aurelio J Cole Pacheco Jovanovic Kyrgiakos Maxi Kuyt Ngog Poulsen Skrtel Players on Loan: Konchesky Aquilani Degen El Zhar Insua January was the start of a Comolli / FSG / Dalglish revolution.

Bill retired. I couldnt believe it. Then i thought I would never get over it. But we moved on. So compared to losing the greatest manager and man, losing a very good footballer that is not a nice man,is nothing. Shanks memory will survive forever,Luis will soon be a footnote.

We've been dallying with 442 a bit more this season than the previous couple, and it would seem to be Roy's preferred formation. Given that, what changes do you think we need to make to the squad/set up, in January or afterwards, to make it work? Where is Gerrard playing? What about Meireles? Do we need to buy wingers, a striker or another midfielder? What is the priority?

It's been a roller coaster of a 48 hours in my life supporting this football club. I will give a summery of the 48 hours when I sober up. I had a drink today for the first time in almost three years, but it was worth the wait. The below image is what I have above my head when I came out the court. I passed the same image/print to Christian Purslow in the court when he turned to me and said, "7-0 to us" What a fucking day.

So I bought tickets for the meet & greet with Jamie Carragher in Cheltenham in June. The date got rescheduled and I couldn't go, due to being on holiday. I was told refunds are processed after the rescheduled event - so they know which tickets have been unused. Fair enough. Three weeks later I still haven't been refunded, I've contacted them numerous times over twitter and Facecunt. And get the same response "I'll pass that onto my colleague and get him to do it ASAP" It's over £100 and I'm bastard skint this month, they are really making me work for this. It was a Paypal payment so should surely be a piece of piss. They came across as snidey twats when …

Said Scott back in August Said LF:D (RIP) a month ago. Said Fowlers God in the pub before Arsenal away Said everyone! So, back by popular demand is the best thread where no one has a clue what is happening on the forum! For those that haven't read the previous threads, a bit of explanation, in this thread I'll be looking at various ways that we could track what we would need to do to probably finish in the top 4. I won't be tracking first pace this season, as we all know by now that City will win. To begin with, I need to decide what points target is needed to finish 4th. I've looked at the points totals for 4th for the past 10 seaso…

The guy basically wins 1 in 10 away games and you can see why with his shithouse tactics. Consequentally using these statistics we will win 2 away games this season - just not acceptable. I will be honest and say that I wanted Roy out pretty much from the Everton game - however I was willing to give him a little more time since the burden of the ownership issue was removed from the club could have played an impact in the first 10-12 games of the season. However the performances against Wigan & Stoke following 4 straight wins gives us all the answers you need - the man is not the progressive manager we need. Currently it is only a matter of time before we …
