Paragraph 135 made for interesting reading.

” A financial penalty for a club that enjoys the support of a wealthy owner is not a sufficient penalty.”

”The issue is not the form of sanction, but its extent.”

Wonder what City and Chelsea think about those statements.

A fair few journalists are suggesting, albeit speculatively, that the Everton points deduction for one breach of the rules would make relegation a plausible scenario for serial rule breakers like City and Chelsea.

They should count themselves lucky that the premier league allowed them to get away with the blag covid losses and the dodgy first dibs on the stadium naming rights. Without these allowances they’d have been £170m over the allowable loss amount and could have been deducted 40 pts if the reported 1pts for each 5mil loss + 6pts on top is correct.

Those fraudulent covid losses have prevented them from a greater point deduction and certain relegation  so once again they benefit from being massive cheats. Other clubs should sue them for those covid figures alone. Why the Premier league accepted those figures is beyond me it is clear cheating.

This is what has annoyed me. If the situations were reversed they would be screaming for us to get liquidated and would be on their high horse about it non stop. Not one of them would have any sympathy for us. They'd just go on about Heysel, us getting in the CL at the expense of them in 2005, furlough and kicking people out of their homes.

Yet they want to feel hard done to because Man City have allegedly done worse but as of now nothing has been proven.

They better get stripped of all their titles if they get done. No way they should keep any of it if they have been proven guilty of these breaches.

It would be like Lance Armstrong being done but told he can keep his titles. Also one season relegation from the premier league will do fuck all to them.

They'll be back the next season cheating again.
