Why’s that fella, have you nearly drowned?

People on shoulders should be picked off by snipers. In my humble opinion.

Because of the shit they've had from gammon twats for saving migrants from dying in the channel. People calling them a taxi service and saying they're removing their monthly donations (yeah like they all gave them money) etc

EDIT: And there is a man getting passed over the crowd in a dinghy so he might need them

Liverpool flag there at the front as well... well a Spain flag with an LFC badge on?

I just switched on and she was doing I’m Still Waiting, which is one of my all-time favourite songs. Boss! She sounds pretty good for a woman in her late 70s.

Aaah, is right lad.

mrs Butty has just countered my ire by saying she’d go on shoulders. I just told her Rawcliffes don’t do festivals, when I explained who Rawcliffes are, she saw her arse. And Sunday was going so well…

I'm gonna level with you mate..... I have no idea who they are either.

No problem with people going on shoulders, it's good seeing people have fun despite the inevitable pints of piss heading in theirs (and yours if you're stood close) direction. Doubt that happens here though.

I’ve been advising my teenage sons to never marry a girl who asks to sit on your shoulders at festivals. Even worse if they have face paint. Avoid.

Ross has been quite ropey, vocally, here. But the she’s almost 80 caveat applies and all that.

But, she’s definitely fulfilled her remit. She’s in the “Legends” slot. The slot which seems to have the purpose of getting a time served big name to bang out hit after hit and classic after classic to try and get a flagging Sunday afternoon crowd revitalised and boogeying.

It’s undeniable that she’s done that. She’s attracted and maintained a massive crowd and they seem to be loving it, having a ball and eating out of the palm of her hand.

Even if it isn’t note perfect. If you want that, lash Spotify on.

Give St. Vincent a go from Friday if you haven’t, she beats the tune of her own drum too. Utterly captivating to watch.

Will do. I used to love Roshin when she was in Moloko, she's something else, off her tits in a good way, fabulous performer.

This Elbow song is fucking brilliant. Not too fussed on their other stuff, it's ok but this is a belter

I saw them live last Monday and they were very impressive. I wasn't expecting much but I'm beginning to think they are quite underrated. (Big hits aside)

Fontaines DC are boss. Great live band.
