Parry completes move to Preston

Cardiff's former Wales forward Paul Parry has joined Preston on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | P | Preston | Parry completes move to Preston

Just like Christian Benitez, fuck off with your same name headline grabbers you desperate cunts. Fucking sad, and very sad.

And update your daily transfer news page more you twats, I could put twice as much news on that page inbetween watching porn half the day, playing online games, and spending 3 hours on here. Fuck off.

Delph is a very tidy player, good in defence and going forward, very calm and a good passer. I'd love to have him at Anfield.

But who has he played against to show this? I mean, is he better than Spearing for example? I am always a little sceptical at these next big thing players.

BBC Transfer gossip :

With Xabi Alonso's departure to Real Madrid imminent, Liverpool will replace the midfielder with Roma's Alberto Aquilani. (Daily Mirror)

I could've thought that to myself and believed it more than the Mirror, which I really think is a laughing stock almost beyond compare, but on the Xabi bit, yeah, as we know it should be about done.

You said Tuesday Drewy, you really had that told to you? I just don't get why they'd wait until today if so, and if it doesn't happen, fuck, things are really stupid. But yeah, that tuesday thing you said confused me, were you just having a laugh at whoever you responded to? Because if it does actually go through I'm baffled at why it had to wait until today.

On that note you should keep an eye out for an Arsenal kid who's second name is Watt (yeah they had all the jokes about his name on arseblog the other day.) because he looks like a good player. I'm sure we'll see/hear of him more before long.

Anyone who saw the Emirates cup will know this anyway.

I think he has more about him than Spearing in that he looks so composed. He plays in the 3rd division but he has been in the first team a while now. I'd say he is as good as Lucas at least if not better.

So Aquilani is currently recovering from ankle surgery. And we are still going to sign another crock? Surely this is an insane risk in what is a vital season. The lad has averaged something like 15 games a season over the last 3 seasons. We laugh at the Mancs signing Owen for free and then we might be about to pay £20m for a player with the same injury record?

This makes me nervous if it does indeed end up happening. A season of Masch and Lucas, or Torres and Ngog up front and Gerrard in midfield does not convince me.

Delph is ace in Football Manager, which seems to be the yardstick which most players are judged on by some posters here. For that reason, I'm in.

Did you see Delph last season? Especially in the play offs, he caught the eye with his passing and looked totally composed in a rush and punt it league. He is highly rated too... I don't and have never played FM so wouldn't know how good he is there. Delph isn't an unknown and time will tell how he does at Villa.

There is a massive difference in quality from playing in League One and playing in the prem. It will be interesting to see if he makes it. Also whether he can cope with the off-field pressures.

He is excellent in the U21's too though mate but then that isn't a yardstick either given some of the shite that's played there. It's a case of wait and see but I'd rather give a top young English lad a chance then have a player who might not settle here and be half as good.

So besides being calm and composed and able to pass the ball in League 1, what qualifies him to be better than Lucas?

Mark Noble. reckon he could be that man, reckon he would do very well with us.

i think the only time I saw Delph last year was the play offs (do they show League 1 otherwise?), he did look ok but its a big leap, is it telling that after being courted by Chelsea, Arsenal and the like that their interest has waned and its now Villa and Everton looking to gamble on him?

Lucas would piss all over League 1, as would Spearing - or even Plessis.

This is Lucas some years ago

Not mutch older than Delph that is. If you'd "scouted" that talent in League 1, Rash, you would mouth about nothing else!
