Die Hard 100/10

Christmas tradition to watch it whilst wrapping presents. Never ever get tired of it

And some a-holes try to say this sweet film about a down on his luck public servant trying to save his estranged wife & see his kids at Christmas, isn’t an actual Christmas film.

It has a the original Christmas Jumper in it as well.

Quite. A man battling through adversity to reunite with his family on Christmas Eve is the quintessential Christmas story. How is it any different to Bob Cratchett battling Scrooge’s meanness to be able to spend time with his family on Christmas Day?

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs

The Coen Brothers present a compendium of tales from the old west, each one having it's own individual flavour.

I really enjoyed these short stories, frequently humourous, always well acted.

The film is also a joy to look at and listen to, the cinematography and score being the best I've witnessed for some time.

A good 8 outta 10.

Watched in glorious 1080p in Yoda Kodi.

Surprised this hasn't got more rave reviews in general. Best I've seen from the Coen Brothers in ages.

The Endless. 7/10. On Netflix.

First of all let me say this isn't a "great" film and I'm sure not to everyone's taste but this is the kind of thing I like.

It's low budget and the guys that wrote, directed and produced it also starred in it and used their own names. There are some implausible scenarios used to push the story along but I will let them off for the want of something a little original.

Two brothers ten years on from their escape from a UFO death cult get pulled back in after finding a video of members of the group showing they are alive and well. Having spent the last ten years in dead end job's and their lives going nowhere,  the younger brother who only remembers the good bits from being in the group persuades the elder to return to the group for some closure.

The Equaliser 2. 6.5/10.

Bogstandard action film with main protagonist having a special forces background.

Fuck all to do with the TV series and no shouting at people in the New York subway wearing a long coat in an English accent.

Edward Woodward would.

Jaws. It was on last night. 2nd best film of all time. 11/10

So the best film of all time gets 12/10? Die Hard got 100/10.

We got some problems to solve.
