Xabi winning the Bundesliga is a nice to have but will be a much smaller consideration to the club than what the underlying numbers tell them in much the same way as when they looked at Klopp's final season at Dortmund.

 

It's given far greater importance by supporters and their assessment of suitability

 

There's a scenario where, in a two horse race, manager A and manager B are in direct competition in the league, Manager A wins the title over manager B, the fans want manager A because he's a winner but the club are vehemently in favour of manager B and wouldn't even consider A because of what the data tells them.
