Silly me for thinking we'd if nothing else go down fighting. First half was so-so. We've barely even resembled a football team in this second half. I don't think I've ever seen so many misplaced passes in a half of football before, and a Madrid team just going through the motions and seeming to be doing their best not to embarrass us too much have still been able to win. The goal seemed to pretty much sum it up. They'd messed up the chance and we still somehow gifted them the goal. Special mention for Trent who must have overhit every single moderately difficult pass in this second half.

We've got the bones of a great team and we've got 3 or 4 who are severely lacking confidence and form. But "bench the lazy overpaid cunts and sell them" makes the loudest noise on here.
