This season I think will end up with us about sixth. Does jurgen have the strength and drive to bike another great side. Does he get the backing, evidence so far suggest he won’t. But he needs to get ruthless with these lads that have been great for us. They aren’t any longer. They are done at this club. Fabinho, Henderson, Gomez, Milner, ox, Keita, Bobby plus others. Maybe Virgil. He’s been terrible. But whatever way you cut it, this is a major rebuild.

People were saying this last season. Then we started to perform.

 

At some point this season we will have a run of matches in which the same group of players (more or less) who picked up 92 points last season start playing at their proper level. That should be enough to make up the 8 points (5, if we win our game in hand) to top 4.

There's no definition of what relegated is here. I would argue missing out on CL is relegation. We don't look like we will get 4th at the moment, because the players are in their worst run of form in front of fans. We need the world cup to arrive and quickly to try and give us a reset.
