Pancake Day

I remember being given a pancake when I was a kid. It had some lemon and sugar with it and it was fucking disgusting. i just remember thinking it tasted like eggy lemon.

I've never eaten once since, until reluctantly trying one last night as I make them for my lad and they look alright.

Had one with some Nutella and it fucking ruled.

  • 1 year later...

I think there is a previous pancake thread where I got incredibly salty about people only having sugar and lemon on their pancakes and refusing to try anything else. I've mellowed slightly now in thinking they should only be tasered in the arse crack.

Does anyone else make them at any other time of year?

We always say, ‘why don’t we make them more often’ but then we never do

Maybe 2 or 3 times each year. We love them round here but they're undoubtedly a faff on to make.

All the time, it's one of the few things my picky kids will eat.

Pancakes a faff to make? One of the easiest foods out there CD and even if you struggle you can get pancake mix. I suppose if you don't have an electric whisk it's a bit of a ballache
