If its two months he will be back around these games, considering we will have a few FA Cup games and Europa League games in here as well, he will play many more games this season.

I doubt its two months though, maybe more like a month.

Thanks Doctor. I hope your diagnosis is correct.

  • 1 month later...

He needs a goal in his first game back. He is a slow starter after an injury but when he has scored immediately after coming back, he is back in business.

I hope there is a chance he can play some part on Thursday and gets a goal. We need him for the 3 aways.

His injury has cost us the title, I think.

Jota is good but he's one of 5 attackers and he's never been the main man. It's like City not winning the title and then saying they would have won it if Bernardo Silva hadn't been injured, meanwhile Haaland and Foden were fit most of the time. If that's your excuse, you just weren't good enough.

Jota is the only clinical finisher we have.  Shame he’s too often at the clinic; had he been fit, he certainly would have been ahead of Nunez and Diaz in the queue for places.  I he’s just a better attacker than either of them.

Our best attacker by far.

His absence cost us the title.

While nothing is over yet Jota is our best finisher but yet another injury prone signing so typical of this regime. Great when available but just as likely not available too.
