At least he left out the Lemar debacle.

Agreed. A person rating a player that doesn't become great is terribly uncommon.

It's somewhat less embarrassing than saying Lemar and Martial are similar players when one is a 9 and the other is a midfielder.

He could have brought up Pepe.

Agreed. It sticks in people's minds when I say something.

Again, at least I don't get players' positions wrong, . You can think players are better than they are, that happens, but that's really something.

An effort at being a politician, not a good one either. Grade school stuff.

Martial is a good example. When did he become a CF?

and @dave u too if i recall correctly.

In the context of "we should sign him" or "my boy" status?

Different things, don't think he was ever wanting us to go in for puncheon...

You want grade school stuff? You started it, dummy.

You had compared Martial and Lemar's goal records when Martial has always been a forward and Lemar had at most played wide midfield in a 4-4-2. It was clueless stuff on your part and you're the very last person who would admit to this sort of stuff on here. You're some old man in Florida who lives to have semantics arguments with people on here.

Now, back to Jota. I don't like him. You dickheads can simply get over it instead of digging out posts from years ago where I think x player might be good.

I thought he could have been useful for like 20m as a sub and Klopp could have improved him.  Nothing more than that.

Traore only made sense as a transfer target when he had a 20m price tag at Boro and was younger.

Read it back eh.

The discussion was about getting in a left sided FORWARD. And you were pining for Lemar as a 10.

This was when you lost the position as Ligue 1 guy. It was terrible all around.

He's a good player but he might be the most overrated player in the history of this club.

This is a list of all our players who have scored and assisted with a frequenzy better than every 140 minutes since the 1963/64 season, you need 10 assist to be on the list.

You might want to stop criticizing Nunez then.

Nah it goes way back to 2015 when he posted this in a thread about players that would come in and improve us.

He even compared him to C.Ronaldo.

Good Lord

And I thought thinking Royston Drenthe was a nailed in star after seeing him in the Euro U21 was a bad take

When he’s bad he’s really bad. But when he’s good he’s really good. Before his injury he was absolutely fucking brilliant. Can’t believe our luck this season, incredible we are where we are. Surely Arsenals and Citys luck with injuries has to change. Hopefully Foden is out for a while.

I will bet good money that he’ll be great after a few games getting back up to speed.
