For context, I think Gakpo is 185 minutes, and Diaz is 149 minutes.

Would be interesting to know what Gakpo’s is from the date of his first goal, as he was initially understandably anonymous in a badly out of form team. He’s had a very good six months or so.

He played 6 games - 500 minutes - without a goal or assist, before the Everton game when he got his first.

He has a goal/assist every 143 minutes since.

Cheers - that's a pretty decent return since he found his feet.

Yep, similar to Diaz.

We have 5 forwards who average over a goal/assist every 145 minutes. If three of them are on the pitch at all times, we will continue to score 3s, or more.

Lots of people (rightly) point to our failings in midfield last season but if we had Jota, Diaz and even Firmino available for the dark period last season, we would have scored ourselves out of trouble in a lot of games.

Yeah, brilliant that we've that level of depth now. Doak is very promising but there's no final ball there yet - in previous seasons we'd be putting pressure on him to develop quicker.

I actually had Diaz at a lower ratio than the rest in my head. Great that there's serious end product there from him now too.

Of course, Salah is still the main man and even his presence creates more space and time for the others.

He's our most natural goalscorer.  What often goes unnoticed is his contributions in other areas of the pitch, even in defence.  And there's no-one better in the team at running with the ball.  He's strong, he's very clever, and he's got that little bit of cynicism in him.
