Guardiola: It is not important to win the Premier League title this season

Classic, predictable Pep. His whole shtick since he's been there has been to prop up how impressive winning the league is and that it's the priority over the Champions League. Now, of course when he's well behind, it's not important anymore.

It's also predictable that if City don't spend loads to rebuild the squad, he won't come back. He's reaching the point where he's thinking he'll need fresh blood to compete.

He's making excuses.

I don't think he'll leave. They've had bad luck with injuries but will have no problems buying a couple in January and then again in the summer. I mean, obviously he's spent a fuck tonne on a defense that apparently has one great player, but he'll have the resources to fix his 'problem'.

I want him to stay and watch us win trophies.

If he leaves it will be because we ruined him in the PL, he'll always have one eye on us and Klopp for the rest of his career, and probably life.

Never struck me as a manager who'd hang about too long anyway.   Unfortunately Klopp is similar but im pretty sure we're going to have a league title or two by the end of the great mans contract.

What are you talking about? Klopp will have been at his 3 jobs for 7 years each, at least. That's very long in this era.

In this era sure,  then again it's a time when Leicester City sack league winning managers and fans turn on club legends at the drop of a hat.

I can't see either buildinh multiple teams and Guardiolas time is nearly up in that regard.
