Better option than some nomark like Lallana off the bench.  Hasn't really proved anything as of yet though, not that he's had the time too.   Really should have buried that chance yesterday.

Not fair on Lallana. There was a period when Lallana was a really great option for us and put in some brilliant performances. The champions league final definitely wasn't it though.

A six month period over four years.  Rewarding mediocrity like this is why we won fuck all.

I like him too. We've improved in games when he's come off the bench,I just feel he's trying too hard to impress rather than just playing his normal game. Will be a big part of the squad this season and was relatively cheap anyway.

Far better than Lallana

 

Lallana really has not shown close to enough since he has been here. A really short spell where he played well but has offered fuck all most of the time. His scoring record is pretty terrible considering what position he is. 21 goals and a 3rd of them in the good 6 months at the start if the 16/17 season. He should be nowhere near the match day squad most weeks

I like Shaquiri but a fit Lallana is better.

Not goalscoring,creating chances,slower,set pieces

 

Lallana is great at keeping the ball and slowing the play down, none of which suit our style of play anymore
