75 million seems a bit steep, in fact perverse. However, we need a good CB to shore up our defence and compliment our forwards who are the best unit in the PL imo. If we make a top 4 finish easier due to his signing then it will be worth it. Can he play for us in the CL this season?

Southampton have not been in Europe so he is available, assuming Liverpool decide to register him as a member of the CL squad. This will almost certainly result in a player being dropped from said squad. That will be interesting...
