Mignolet?

Rubbish. Two massive centre halves on one striker at the near post. Should have been easily cleared if they were competent. Skrtel was going to be penalised sooner or later.

He has made some great saves this season and has had a few blips. Makes a change to see a keeper getting near a shot rather than not reacting or acting like the ball was fired from a Howitzer,

Funny .

I'd say a top class keeper should save you 10 points a season, Mignolet has saved us around that but he has cost us some as well.  City and Chelsea away, Villa at home come to mind as stand out fuck ups.  It's better than Reina though, who in the last 2 seasons threw points away for us at times.

I don't know, he's obviously a good keeper - but I'd prefer we looked elsewhere.  I just think he has too many mistakes in him.  But history has shown that if you stick with a keeper, you usually rewarded.

Mignolet is fucking ace

He's good.  I like him.  I wish him well.  But he's got a lot of improving to do before I call him "fucking ace".

At first, it was his piss-poor distribution that concerned me most.  These days, I get more concerned by his abject failure to command his area.  A fucking ace goalkeeper is one who puts the shits up strikers who dare to go one-on-one and also has his defenders too scared to make any mistakes.

It was telling to see Brad Jones at the Emirates coming out to punch some crosses well clear.  When Brad Jones is dealing with situations better than you, you know you've got some work to do.
