On another note, I'm fast losing patience with the refereeing situation in this country.

 

A rule book is a rule book and a foul is a foul, it doesn't matter who is on the receiving end, it's a foul if you're an over-physical bellend playing against an equally strong player, or a dwarf. Villas physical approach wouldn't have stood with European refs, and rightly so.

 

The referees in this country are unintentionally changing the dynamics of what players teams can get. Little technicians like Sterling should be protected but you just know that if he was in a 50/50 with a Chelsea shithouse and was fouled then the ref wouldn't give it.

 

I've seen a lot of shithouse shenanigans from City and Chelsea this season, and they get away with it.
