I hope to God it's just a lack of match fitness, because today Sahin looked really, really s-l-o-w.

He was always going to be slow. He was slow for Dortmund, too .He has a bunch of other qualities though - if they can come to fruition in the Premier League remains to be seen.

Looks like a brilliant player was really impressed by him today what do you reckon the realistic chances of us getting him on a permanent deal?

Doubt it

We wanted him on a 12 month loan deal and the gunners wanted him on a permanent deal, thats why he chose us.

It will boil down to Mourinho and the player , if Sahin has an enjoyable time here and wants to stay only Mourinho can stop it happening , Madrid have such a stacked midfield will Sahin really want to go back there and play here and there ?

I can see us signing him to fund Madrids latest flavour of the month signing , hopefully anyway.

Some idiots questioned his lack of pace like it was all you need to make it in this league. He's a quality footballer who will be a great asset to the side.

Maybe we could get him to love us, feel an important part of the rebuilding and restoration of a great club back to where we rightly belong.

Get the lad a bit of discount at Elif and he can have no complaints.

We need a proper song for him and sing it and make him feel really at home and appreciated, most players who come to Anfield fall in love with it because of the love they are given from the fans. :inlove:

He will be a massive asset for us this season and in the future if we get to keep him.

The way things are going we're going to need the hardcore away boys to come up with a load of new songs for the pups and new signings. A bit of the red fellow drank along with the boys triumphant a warm feeling this evening. How good is the world when the redmen win.
