You know every year wenger plays 'the kids' in the league cup and the media masturbate on just how good the arsenal kids are, isn't he brilliant, aren't they going to be wonderful.

Well what's he done with them? Has he got them in a cellar somewhere?

Now the word is out that Arsenal need serious rebuilding Wenger can forget about getting anything that resembles a bargain. He's gonna get taken to the cleaners on any transfer now. Whats the chances that Monaco striker doesn't turn up for his medical?!

He was probably on the phone to the South Korean army at 6 o'clock yesterday asking for his National Service to be brought forward.

I consider a player to be "world class" if they are worthy of a regular starting place in any team in the world. Six or seven years ago the Goons had at least six or seven such players. Right now there's Van Persie and that's it. If I were his agent, I'd start considering the January window.

You really think Van Persie is World Class? You think he would get a regular start at Barca, Real,2 Manc clubs, Chelsea? If Van Persie is World Class, there's hundreds of World Class players out there. Truely world class players im my mind are someone who CONSISTENTLY plays at a very high level over a long period of time, not someone who'll do it over 3/4 games out of 10. Would Van Persie get into a World 11 + subs? not a fuckin chance.

The cruellest twist is that I think they've finally found a good keeper... It's like finding the last piece of the puzzle down the back of the sofa and then realising you kicked the board over during your search.

After that alleged "derisory" offer for Gary Cahill last week, Wenger's just taking the piss now: Everton FC reject Arsenal bid to swap Mikel Arteta for Nicklas Bendtner

by Philip Kirkbride, Liverpool Echo Aug 29 2011

EVERTON FC are not interested in swapping Saturday’s last minute matchwinner, Mikel Arteta, for Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner. [...] A report yesterday claimed that contact had been made between the Blues and Arsenal and Arsene Wenger wanted a swift answer to his swap offer.

Everton have knocked back the bid, but the Blues are now hoping that no-one comes in with a straight cash deal for any of their players, with any money received likely to go to reducing the bank debt rather than reinvested in players. [...]

anyone catch Rosicky's reaction to Rooney's free kick, bizarre to say the least

Manchester United 3 - Arsenal 0 : Rooney's First Free Kick - YouTube

watch from about 48 secs and watch Rosicky on the end of the wall, he's walking off before it's even got over the wall and doesn't even look back.

Yeah saw Hansen pointing that out on MOTD2, sums up why they're the way they are. The likes of Arshavin and co too, are a disgrace.

Arsenal thanks 'fantastic' fans for support

Arsenal Football Club has announced it will be writing to fans who travelled to Old Trafford on Sunday with an offer to cover the cost of a match ticket at a future Barclays Premier League away game.

A Club statement issued today said: "Sunday's result was obviously disappointing for everyone connected with the Club. Our travelling fans were magnificent throughout and we want to recognise their fantastic support. We will be writing to them shortly with the details."

Arsenal knew this was coming and chose not to act. They are just as negligent in not spending as Citeh are in buying everything that moves. Their continued demise this season has everybody weeping and wailing, but we've taken their place in the league table for now. Can't feel sorry for them at all or their dire performances.

The rot has well and truly started to set in there, and as we know from painful experience; once it starts it's nigh on impossible to turn it round.

spot on.

It'll drag on till christmas probably and he'll walk.

I've never forgiven him for his Istanbul comments so fuck you Wenger, i'm laughing and laughing hard
