Lovely pass by Kuyt. Just a thought for those knocking Kuyt. Maybe him being on that side is helping Kelly.

 

But if he's completely ineffective himself, then we're still using 2 players to make one perform. He's just dreadful. Brushed off the ball at will, no skill, pace or touch. At no other club than ours, would fans tolerate the performances Dirk has consistently given. Or not.

 

But it's ok, because as soon as we hit another sticky patch, he'll be first in the echo rallying the troops. He needs to worry about his own game first and foremost.

Bar a couple of minor niggles that's a great performance. I can't remember the last time we looked so comfortable in attack.

Pretty happy with that first half, unlucky not to be at least 2 up.

Hopefully we'll score a second pretty quick in the second. Dont feel like sitting all nervous as the game nears the end.

Torres has been brilliant up front. Great first half performance and should be at least 2 up, everything has been straight at Howard, either side and we'd have another.

Still worried anout Skrtel and the long balls at him.

The formation is working great, Johnson has done a great job on Coleman and is dangerous going forward. Kelly is awesome.

Everton's defence shit their panmts every time Nando has it in the last third. Meireles is making some great runs in the Gerrard role. Lucas and spearing are giving him the platform to do that. And we've looked fairly comfortable in defence. Ever since the goal, if Johnson gets forward they're sending three men over to that side. We need to get him into crossing positions on the edge of their 18 yard box a bit more.
