I do like johnson and, in an ideal world where we had lots of money, i wouldn't have said anythin, but i think we needed another striker. We'll see what january brings but i do think johnson is a quality addition, given our current financial situation i feel the money should have been spent elsewhere.

I think I can calm everyones nerves by saying Voronin got injuried during the internationals as well. He was on the bench aganst England, but picked up a knock before the match against Andorra and could`nt play.

 

Not sure how long he will be out, we can only hope he`ll be ready for the mancs, or we`re doomed...

Plane delayed, apparently because they couldn't get Insua's arse through the metal detector. Last I heard they were flying directly to Sunderland, or thereabouts.

I'm never usually a fan of three at the back, but given our injury problems plus our defensive issues against a side with a pair of in-form forwards with power, pace and aerial ability, I reckon today might the day to go with it. Is Dirk fit, though?
