The events of yesterday are more than i could have ever thought. I never in a million years expected an apology from Cameron and, i actually believe his apology was as heart felt as it sounded. Yes, he was left in no other position but to apologise, but the way he delivered it, well, i can only admire him for that. The fight has to continue now though and, despite what we heard yesterday, we HAVE to keep fighting, accountablility needs to be found and individuals need to be punished. Yesterday was an emotional rollercoster, as i was saying to my missus last night, I feel so happy yet at the same time sad and angry at what the families, survivors and us as fans have been put through these past 23 years. I felt strange last night, like a weight was lifted, like I was walking 10 feet tall. I can only express my admiration and thanks to the panel, The HFSG and HJC and us reds who've stuck by each other through this. It makes me proud to be a scouser and more importantly, proud to be a red. The clouds are clearing now but we still haev a long way to go before we see the Golden Sky at the end of the storm -

Yeah as a WWE character. He could be the kick up the arse it needs to get it back on its feet but they fuck it up over and over again. They should have had him fuck up the very annoying John Cena and then built on that and get Paul Heyman more involved simply cos I've liked him since WCW and ECW days. I like the idea of building Lesnar up to be a great Heel character.

I probably should have looked up valuations, earnings etc to get a better idea how it works Most of the answers will probably be in here and, after scanning the first couple of paragraphs, baseball is way behind football financially Soccer Vs. Baseball - Forbes.com in terms of sponsorships. I still think that FSG are more likely to invest more in the Red Sox next season than they are in us because the Red Sox have been utter shit this season

I'm not even gonna pretend to know facts and figures and amounts, it was just an opinion based on player salary/contracts, TV coverage, merch etc, that there is more money in baseball, across all baseball franchises, than there is in football. Football as a product is obviously bigger than Baseball, and the bigger football teams like us, Man U, Barca, look to expand globally to make even more money but you don't see the same from Baseball franchises in terms trying to spread their global appeal so that to me says that they don't have to depend on it because they make enough within the borders of the US. It's hard enough to even try and get Red Sox merchandise in the UK! If I'm wrong, fair enough, like I said, it's a post based on assumptions rather than facts.

Especially as they'll probably get more of a return from the Red Sox winning the World Series than from us scraping into the top 4. At the end of the end of the day, they're business men who's prime goal, despite all the talk of doing it for the return of glory days etc, is to make profit on their investment. Even though there are many comparisons between Liverpool and the Red Sox historically and culturally, Baseball will make infinite more money than footy so I can honestly see them investing a hell of a lot of money in the Red Sox, especially if they lose the series they have coming up against the Yankees and the Orioles and miss out on the Wildcard for the Playoffs

Based on the way the Red Sox have been playing this season, I can see FSG investigating a lot of their money in them cos, as it stands they're struggling to make the play offs. They may or may not have a bottomless pit of money but when you have 2 important teams under your company that both need investing in, then something's gotta give
