He may be a twat and a permacrock but Interestingly he has over the last 4 seasons played exactly the same amount of games as Thiago and more mins in doing so.

Fucking hell mate, do you sit round all day waiting for a opportunity to mention Thiago's injury record?

Do you think no one else is aware?

We should just tell the pack journos we're preparing to put an 85m bid in for caciedo after his people gave Liverpool the green light to move forward.

Bang on. Its what the Mancs did to get Mount sorted when the tory boys were dicking them around.

Just pay Southampton what they want. £50M for a 19 year old who had a good season for a crappy team is not too unreasonable, especially since we're going to make around £60M from Hendo and Fabinho.

£50 mill is like the third highest premier league fee for a teenager ever. It’s a lot.

Spending loads on very young players is the second best way to waste money.

Aye. Le Tellec was supposed to be the new Zidane, but the only thing he's famous for is jogging past the scene of a knife attack.

That's true, but at least we're not buying him for just his physical ability and hoping technical skills/understanding of the game will follow, he already has both. He's also not one that has played 100s of senior games from 16/17 so we'll be very unlucky if he runs straight into fitness issues.  Plus he knows the league.

Happy with this if it comes off, although gone back and forth on it a bit.

Still need two more (MF+CB) by the deadline, imo. Ideally have that other midfielder in before kick off, but seems unlikely.

Scored the winner in a 1-0 win against Chelsea on 6th January too.

Was my birthday and I’d put a tenner on us to win 1-0.

Wasn't that Cheyrou in both instances (Chelsea winner/new Zidane)?
