I'd say this is just Chelsea trying to move the Caciedo thing along but it's Chelsea so they'll just want to buy Lavia because they can then still pursue Caciedo.

even if he does, it doesn't mean they don't know he's getting fed up and we could chuck some shit in there that mac has convinced him liverpool is the place to be.

Caicedo is an excellent player who also played at right back at times last season and he would dovetail perfectly with Trent and his inverted fullback shenanigans.

 

Problem is, he downed tools to force a January move to Arsenal, then several weeks ago he only wanted to play for Man United, and now it's Chelsea or nothing.

 

Caicedo seems like a bit of a dick imo.

Lynch is saying that the Lavia deal is independent of the Fabinho deal and the motivation was a need to strengthen regardless suggesting another midfielder is likely to join him at some point.

Certainly think some of his actions would have Klopp not wanting him and he sure does come off as a bit of a dick, but right now its the team trying to buy him rather than himself, they are well aware of what he costs and also should at this point be very aware of how Brighton do business yet continue try to offer less, I also reckon Brighton would have played more ball and lowered the asking price had Chelsea let them make the Colwill loan permanent.

I wouldn’t put it past Chelsea having zero interest in him and this is just Boehly swinging his dick in front of other American club owners in the PL either.

Chelsea have  no regard for anything. They probably would try to bid for Lavia and Caicedo. But its probably more to get us to pay the 50m Southampton want. I dont really get that second bid when the price they have set is clear and we want him to go on the Asia trip. Just pay what they want.

No reason for him to leave so soon. It will start next summer when his contract has 1 year left on it and he can use their interest as leverage for what he will want to do. It's also clear the Saudis don't like paying transfer fees, so a Salah with 2 years left on his deal isn't attractive to them yet. We'd ask for too much money.
