I just want to show her how much nicer West Derby Village is compared to Woolton Village. Just one night. One shot.

Or let her rough it a bit - take her along to The Crown or The Standard and feed her with something from the New Century menu. She may not thank you but she'll never forget it.

I was thinking a few pints and some Oasis on the juke-box in The Halton.

Extraordinarily attractive, supremely talented, and seemingly a good egg.

Everything seems too easy at the moment, she needs a project she can really get her teeth into.

What she needs is a man, nearly double her age. One that has only a fraction of her attractiveness, and very few talents (other than the riding of dodgem cars and keepie uppies). As a bonus he brings multiple personality flaws, and an ever thickening waistline.

Ready when you are Jodie.

Disappointed Jodie didn't know where the term 'chocka' stems from when being quizzed on her scouse by that yank there.

Chockablock started out as a nautical term. A block is a metal or wooden case with one or more pulleys inside. Sometimes, two or more blocks are used as part of a rope and pulley system called a "block and tackle" to provide a mechanical advantage—as, for example, when hoisting a sail on a traditional sailing ship. When the rope is pulled as far as it will go, the blocks are tight together and are said to be chockablock. Non-nautical types associated the chock in chockablock with chock-full, which goes back to Middle English chokkefull, meaning "full to the limit" (a figurative use of "full to choking").
