My thoughts exactly and you would have took it before the match but it is just annoying that we were so wasteful in front of goal.

Emre Can was absolutely boss today, Gini not far behind. Can't believe Lallana missed that. Also Firmino again very similar story to OT at 1-0 you've got to finish them off.

We didn't fold after they equalised and I guess it was fair result. Their finishing was as bad as ours. Could have easily ended 5 all

Ah well. An entertaining game really. We'd have taken the point before hand and even though we had super chances, so did they. A win against the bitters and we'll be onto a good run. Even though united have 2 games in hand,one of them is away at city and one of city's games is home to united so both teams can't get 6 points on us.

Can was easily the best CM on the pitch. Bossed it.

Chances for both sides, Lallana with the most embarrassing miss of the season, but he played really well otherwise.  Firmino, decision making up front notwithstanding, played well.  Can had another solid game, and Mane could have done better in a few instances, but worked hard. 

 

All in all, a fair result, we had quite a bit of luck going for us.

Well said Id take a point before the game and it was a game that really could have gone either way. For offside sterling's miss, lallana's was every bit as bad if not more so.

 

We just cant defend witha cool head or tackle for toffee. We look like we're riding our luck at the back, none more so than this game. It's panic stations and hope to lash the ball clear. We dive into tackles and dont come out with the ball.

 

Can has to MoTM with Gini coming in 2nd.
